Mr Heindel  was admitted to the practice of law in  November, 1990.
He grew up in Mentor, Ohio and graduated from Mentor High School in
1983. He  is a 1987 cum laude graduate of Kent State University,  with a
Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies.  He earned his law
degree, also with honors,  from the University of Akron School of Law in
1990.  He has been  honored with  American Jurisprudence Awards in
both Criminal Law and Civil Procedure

Mr. Heindel began his legal career  as an associate with a law firm in
Solon, Ohio.  In 1993, he started in the private practice of law and
opened his first office on Euclid Avenue, in Cleveland.  The following
year, he moved his office to the Standard Building where he has been
ever since.  

During his career, he has had many successful jury verdicts, and
countless successful hearings and trials in domestic relations court.  
He was also instrumental in framing an important piece of law in the
Eight District of Court of Appeals, where the Court clarified the
relationship between the automatic stay in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy,  
and a pending divorce.  

Mr. Heindel is an avid sports fan.  He is particularly interested in  
baseball and hockey.  He enjoys snow skiing and has travelled skied
many of the states in Rocky Mountains.  He lives in Lake County, where
he has resided most of his life.
